  2. I enjoyed my visit this evening. A beautiful garden, lovely quilts, and a wonderful spider story. I too followed the life of a spider in my window some fifty years ago. Fascinating. Kathlene

  7. Hi Wendy,
Wow, you're one busy lady. I love your quilts and blocks and boxes of things.
I'll have to say like the terminator 'I'll be back'.

  8. Terrifying drivers....but 3 on the go you deserve a medal. My husband can make my hair stand on end but I have learned to wear a metre of fabric over my face on long distance trips!

  10. Saw your Women of the Bible blocks in the yahoo group. Do you have a paper-piecing template for your Blcok #3 - Hagar? I don't like applique and your version is wonderful!

  11. Just attempted your Mitsubishi cake, I am an amateur so my lines were not quite as clean as yours but I am happy with the result. Do you use royal icing or fondant? It has been hard to do with the heat here in Queensland! Thank you for your blog!

    1. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment - and congratulations on attempting this cake - It had it's challenges for me too. I use Fondant (RTR) and the premixed colours are best for strong colours, especially Red and Black.
      Regards.

Oh, I LOVE Heart's Desire. It is beautiful and beautifully done. I always enjoy your posts on the Janome boards but this is my first time visiting your blog. It is excellent! You write and photograph well and you have an artist's eye. I will return, I am sure.

  13. I just found your blog and hope you continue to post information and pictures of your Bali Wedding Star progress. I have started one and have just completed the arcs. I envy you, having a class available. I do not think the instructions are perfectly clear so I am struggling to figure out the next step. I'm afraid I will do something wrong or run out of fabric, etc. I guess if worse comes to worse I will have to settle for a scrappy look.

  14. Hi there, I just found your blog and have had fun looking through it. i found it when looking for Leesa Chandler Dutch Cottage "spice" fabric (your April 2015 blog post). Do you have any advice on where to find this fabric? I love it, especially the large floral print, but am having great trouble finding any. Many thanks, Emma in Sydney.

  15. Thank you for dropping in to my Blog -
Unfortunately Leesa Chandler's Dutch Cottage Range is 'out of print' and there is only a small amount still out there if you are lucky enough to find it. I was not able to source any of the large floral print in the Spice colourway either. Good luck with your search!
