A long time ago I met a boy
who talked of a little train he went on as a kid.
We went up hills and through tunnels and passed waterfalls until we got to the town of Kuranda.
And when we got there we were met by my Internet friend Glenda and whisked off for lunch and a tour of her sewing space!

ReplyDeleteI was just reading your comments on the Janome 6500 Challenges group and took note of where you were traveling .....although I live in Canada, I have been on the train to Kuranda...what a fun ride with my sister who is married to an Aussie. this was in 2002, and they live in South Johnstone. We really enjoyed our visit to that area of Queensland, and seen some of the same waterfalls. My sister has been visiting from Australia, and just left my place this a.m., going to Calgary with another sister, and flying back to Australia on July 31st. Hope you have a great holiday.
